Dr. Arti Goswami has been serving as the Chief Operating Officer of You First Services group of companies since June 2013. She has been executing business strategy, participating in research activities and ensuring operational excellence company-wide.Dr. Goswami holds a Ph.D in Extension Education and has advanced education in Nutritional Sciences.She has served as the Director and Chief Operating Officer of The Learning Center in the past. She has also served in the capacity of Research Coordinator with the Department of Cancer Prevention and Population Sciences at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.
Joe Allen

The largest part of Joe’s career was spent at Allen & Caron Inc., a firm he founded in 1981 in Irvine, California. He and his colleague, Rene Caron, guided the firm's investor relations and media relations activities for decades, expanding to New York City in 1995 and London in 2002. Largely due to family health problems, Allen & Caron Inc agreed to a business combination in 2015 with Dresner Corporate Services of Chicago, creating the DresnerAllenCaron division. He left after a contractual transition period of two years in 2017 to form Joe Allen Associates Inc, and subsequently joined Buffalo-based You First Services, Inc.
Joe worked actively in planning investor and media programs and spearheaded Allen & Caron’s initiative working with cross-border companies, including international companies with ADRs that trade in the United States. Under his leadership, the company worked with clients in the UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Greece, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, South Africa, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil and Argentina, among other countries.

Thomas Yale Hobart Jr.

Thom Hobart has been president of New York State United Teachers since its inception in 1972. Since then the organization has grown from 100,000 to 500,000. Mr. Hobart also serves as Vice President and a member of the Executive Committee of both the American Federation of Teachers and the New York State AFL- CIO. He co chaired a 1991 Committee on School to Work Transition which produced the report, “Education That Works: Creating Career Pathways For NY State Youths”.
Hobart has been vice chair for both the New York State Employment and Training council and the Job Training and Partnership council. He co founded the New York State Labor Religion Coalition and served as an international observer in elections held in Nicaragua, South Africa and Chile and has represented the labor movement in more than 40 nations. He serves on the Board of Governors of the United Way of America and formerly was chair of the United Way of New York State. Hobart is a former member of the National Education Association Board of Directors. In 1998 Homework Central, the largest academic research site on the Internet, named Mr. Hobart as one of the 100 most influential people in United States public education.

Dr. Gene D. Morse is a tenured, SUNY Distinguished Professor in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Associate Director of the Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences at the University at Buffalo. He is Director of the Translational Pharmacology Research Core (TPRC) and Co-Director of the SUNY Global Health Institute.He has been actively involved in drug development research since the introduction of antiretrovirals for HIV in 1986.
The TPRC program conducts innovative research and fosters collaborations in new areas of HIV and hepatitis C virus drug development and therapeutics implementation research including pre-clinical evaluation, phase I, II, and III FDA trials, ongoing post-approval Phase IV research, nanomedicine, health information technology, and medication management. The TPRC is an internationally recognized leader in antiviral pharmacology and has an expanding global health program. UB’s HIV and HCV Clinical Pharmacology Laboratory conducts innovative HIV and HCV clinical and translational research; investigates novel biomatrices and compartments for the measurement of antiviral activity; integrates pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics with human and viral genomics and proteomics to facilitate and accelerate drug development research; and, promotes capacity building to train translational scientists and build global research infrastructure for antivirals and associated co-infections.

His primary area of research is in the field of hypogonadism and type 2 diabetes. He has over 60 publications in peer-review journals. He is frequently invited to give talks and grand rounds on the topic of hypogonadism in men. He is a member of Scientific Reproductive Committee of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.Working as a member of the research team with Dr. Dandona at State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Dhindsa has spent most of his academic career over the last 10 years investigating the association of type 2 diabetes and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. Obesity and diabetes associated hypogonadism is not due to elevated estrogen concentrations in obesity. The latest data shows that the testosterone concentrations in obese adolescent boys are only half those of lean boys, thus implying that obesity affects HPG axis even at puberty. Dr. Dhindsa is the primary investigator on a grant from American Diabetes Association and co-investigator on a grant from NIH to elucidate the effects of hypogonadism in men with type 2 diabetes or obesity on insulin sensitivity and inflammation and the response to treatment with testosterone or clomiphene.

She has been involved with the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology on the Safe Motherhood Initiative, which seeks to lower maternal morbidity and mortality through the prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage, severe hypertension in pregnancy and venous thromboembolic disease. She is interested in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology and women’s health and practiced for many years doing general Ob/Gyn care.Dr. Barnabei’s long-time clinical focus is the care of women with menopausal and peri-menopausal problems. Menopause and hormone therapy have also been a large part of Dr. Barnabei’s research activities, and she has been an investigator with several of the large clinical trials on the impact of hormone therapy on symptoms and disease, including the Women’s Health Initiative. Currently, she is working with several multidisciplinary groups on the medical campus and the community investigating links between the microbiome of the pregnant woman and preterm birth, the effects of air pollution on birth outcomes, and strategies to reduce the incidence of adolescent pregnancy in Erie County.

Michael Manuszewski is a registered pharmacist and the owner of Island Prescription Center, an independent pharmacy located in Grand Island, NY. He graduated from SUNY at Buffalo, School of Pharmacy in 1987, with a B.S. in Pharmacy. He has held many positions in retail pharmacy, including chain, closed, and independent environments, but has found his niche as owner and supervising pharmacist of Island Prescription Center.
He also serves as a preceptor for many pharmacy students from D’Youville College of Pharmacy, and SUNY at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Michael enjoys working with students to teach them the rewards of practicing pharmacy the “old fashioned” way. Through collaboration he exemplifies to his students the importance of taking the time to get to know your patients, providing them with comprehensive knowledge of their medications, in addition to helping them better understand their disease states. John Lordi is the co-founder and CEO of Buffalo Bioblower Technologies. Except for two years at M.I.T. Lincoln Laboratory, Dr. Lordi spent his entire career at the Calspan Advanced Technology Center (formerly Cornell Aeronautical Lab) as a technical program manager, head of the Physical Sciences Department and the Executive Director of the Calspan-UB Research Center (CUBRC). His technical expertise is in high-temperature gas dynamics, and he has published numerous papers and reports in this area. After retiring from Calspan, he was a Research Professor in the department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at the University at Buffalo until 2015.
